This is my latest endeavor - trail obstacles/dioramas.  I've been making them off and on for years, but only for myself.  These two are my first attempt at making some for others.  My brother is into railroading and he's been a great help in giving me tips and such.  Too bad he lives half way across the country though, as he can't see these in person!

First up is a winter trail scene, set inside of a 5"x7" frame.  This set up is very light and will be easy to transport to model horse shows as the trees are removable.  There is a small creek running across the scene, along with fallen branches, dead leaves, rocks and bits of fallen snow.

This obstacle/diorama is set inside of an 8"x10" frame.  Again, the trees/bushes are removable and it's very lightweight.  Instead of a creek, I decided to do a railroad scene, where you could set up your model moving along next to the tracks or going up the trail that's cut into the small hillside (just to the left of the red tree - hard to see in the photos, unfortunately).
