Photos of the Storeroom/Stamp Room

This was the room they used for their bedroom. Notice the lighter color on the floor in the foreground? This is where the bed was, which gives you an idea of how dirty the floor was. Once again dark paneling rears its ugly head.

The room now has at least two coats of primer and maybe a coat of regular white paint at this point. To the left is a very small closet. Small being the operative word here.

For now this room is being used as a storeroom. Eventually some of these things will move up to the attic, once it gets emptied out. Right now the attic is wadded full of stuff that was left and needs to be taken to the dump. It'll take a long time to clear out the attic, so for now we use this room, as well as a rented storage unit.

Here's another view of the fabulous laminate flooring. Each day we admire the flooring, as it looks so much nicer than what was here before. Agree?

Here's the large, plastic covered clothes rack I mentioned in one of my emails. Yep, I've got a few items of clothing, don't I? I really like this much better than a regular closet, as the plastic keeps the cat hair off my clothes.

Okay, now we can officially call this the Stamp Room, as I've moved over all of my stamping stuff from the rented storage units and I've started to do some stamping. My tack and props for the model horses are also in this room as I don't want to put them up in the hot attic right now.

This is the small table I use for stamping. I have a much smaller area than I did in Spokane (which was a 10x20 shed), so I really had to condense it. Some of my stamping stuff went up into the attic. A small TV and DVD player are on a stand between the stamping table and the filing cabinet.

A view of the plastic drawers used for tack (black, in front) and stamping stuff (white, against the wall). Yeah, I like ink pads, which are in the wood cubes on top of the drawers.

Here's more of my mulberry papers, which are a type of handmade (usually handmade in various parts of the world) paper that I use as a background between the stamped image and the cardstock. That white dog with the red blanket has a music box in it that still works and I had it as a kid. Note the PushMePullYou critter just next to the dog. From the era of the original movie with Rex Harrison. The cabinets are filled with stamping cardstock and envelopes.
Update: This room has been completely revamped with new storage cabinets from Ikea and the clothes moving into the new wardrobes in the bedroom. Photos will up uploaded later on.
