Photos of the cats in their new home. Some of these are on other pages, while others aren't. If you're a cat person, enjoy. And if you're not, you probably won't be on this page. HA!

Jack has discovered how cozy the chair and footstool from Ikea are. We did purchase it for our use, but of course the cats have taken it over for themselves. Did I expect otherwise? Nope! Note the small zebra side table next to the chair. Pretty cool, huh? |

Jack (orange tabby) has only one eye, therefore his full name of One Eyed Jack. The other kitty is Rocky, a dark grey tabby. |

Naturally this photo is to show you the prints put up on the wall behind the wood burning stove, and not a photo of Guy on top of one of the cat perches. Guy has had a very hard life before I adopted him and he deserves some spoiling. He's also arthritic and diabetic. But he's still a great snuggly lap cat. |

Another view of the teak cabinet, this time with Mandy (my calico) on it. |

These are the two custom built cat perches that Dirk made
for the cats. I always wanted a spiral staircase - now I have them, just
for the cats and not for me, though. Boris is trying to get a little bit of
sunshine, down at the bottom, while Guy is snoozing away on the top. The
sign between the two perches says "Cat Crossing", as does the yellow plastic
crossing sign to the left.

Yep, pussy cats on the bed - where else! From front to back, we've got Boris, Jack and Mandy. |

Boris and Mandy enjoying the comfort of the rocker chair. Wish I could sleep that relaxed, don't you? |

Rocky and Jack enjoying the sun coming through. And if you know what to look for, you can see Guy laying next to Jack (Guy is black and hard to see). Boris is laying down on the bottom of the perch - look closely under the left chair arm. |

Hey, a cat (Jack) that isn't on the chair! Amazing. Jack loves to lay all sprawled out like this. And he doesn't mind when you rub his belly either. Goofy cat. |

This photo was taken before the Baker's Racks were put up in the living room, so you can see why the Christmas cactus was always played with. It was just too tempting, this close to the teak cabinet (and prime kitty viewing out the window perch). Rocky and Boris are intent on something outside the window that night. It wasn't one of the neighborhood cats, as they weren't yowling up a storm over whatever it was they were seeing. Probably a possum. |

I had some leftover salad shrimp, which Guy is greatly enjoying. Note he's not giving Boris too much room to cram his face into the bowl. For once Jack isn't trying to shove his way into Guy's food bowl. And you wonder why my cats are so big! HA! Actually, they were all rather large to start with, in terms of body size. I don't think I've ever owned the runt of a litter and all the large stray cats would find me. And then they'd have that stray cat syndrome of shoving face into food when it was out, as they'd think they wouldn't get any more in the future. |

Here's Mandy in the newly organized Stamp Room (aka the Storeroom). I put this pillow on top of the moveable storage thingie so I could rest my feet on it while watching DVDs, but Mandy obviously has other plans. As usual! |

Here's two pictures of me and my 4 puddy cats. My black kitty, Guy, had to be put to sleep a while ago due to old age, diabetes and other health complications. Which is the only reason he's not in this group photo, since he was a huge lap lover. From left to right, we have Jack (yeah, he's fat!), Boris, Rocky (the grey tabby) and Mandy on my shoulder. Needless to say, I had to end up watching TV instead of reading as I didn't have any room for my book! |
