North Light Labrador Mother and Pups - totally adorable!!! $40.00
This sculpture was available to those that joined their Dog Collector Club, around about in 1994 or 1995 (I don't remember exactly). I don't know how many were made, but I know I didn't sign up too many folks for the Dog Collector Club, which only lasted for one year.
It measures appx 2.5" high by 5.5" long and is numbered DCC36 on the bottom (from member #36)
It's in almost mint condition. As is common on many North Lights there are some shiny spots on the right side of the mother and on the top black puppy. I don't know why this happens, but it does to quite a few North Lights.
This is a very hard to find sculpture and would be an excellent addition to anyone's North Light collection or for anyone that love Labrador dogs.
Here you can see the mama putting up with 4 of her pups getting their dinner, as well as the crawling pup on her head. What a patient gal!
Look at that expression in her eyes! North Light has always done an excellent job on painting the eyes of their sculptures and this gal is no exception.
Last, but not least, is another view of the crawling pup. Too cute! She needs a good home where she'll be displayed instead of packed away (for years in a non-smoking home).
