China/porcelain/ceramic Horses by Echt Altmann.  I don't have very much information on this company other than they were made in Japan and I believe they're all long since discontinued.  I have seen some of these horses with a sticker on the base for one of the Japan companies, such as Lefton - but I don't remember exactly what it was all these years later.  The horses are permanently attached to the base.  They have a very distinct style of cream colored horses with brown/tan or grey shading, all with brown/tan colored/highlighted bases.

I've had this lovely mare and foal set for years and years.  I picked it up from a store exclusively selling British imports and this was the last of the horses they had bought from a customer's estate.  Even though they're not made in the UK, the owner could not resist getting them due to their beauty.  I always wondered what else I missed out on.  Oh well, such is life!  :-)  They've always been the centerpiece of my collection, but it's time for them to move onto greener pastures.  They measure 11" high by 11¼" long by 6" wide.    $300.00

The base has the Echt backstamp, along with A272 imprint and a "Hand Decorated" sticker.

I will not ship this piece out.  You have to either purchase it from me at a show or come by my house to get it.  Or pay for The UPS Store to pack it up and ship it out (and most likely will be very pricey!).

These lovely two foals will make a great addition to anyone's collection.  The number on the base is A271. Small black dot by the right eye of the foal with its head down.  (5½ x 6½)  $125.00    BF
This rearing horse does not have a backstamp on the base, although there is a remnant of what could be a sticker.  It's done in the same style as the other Echt Altmann horses, so I've always believed it's one of theirs.  It also has the same round foam pads on the base, as do all of the others that I'm selling.  The horse has light grey shading.  (8 x 6)   $85.00    BF
