Here's
more photos of Boris.

Here's one of Boris and
Guy taking a snooze on the cushy pillows and blankets. I wonder if Guy was
snoring and that's why Boris has his paw on Guy's face. HA! |

Here's Boris wandering
around in the snow. Yes, those are plastic pink flamingos! My husband
thinks they're the tackiest things in the world, which is why I have them.
Boris loves to play in the snow and he doesn't mind when you cover him up with
snow while he's rolling around it in. Yes, he's one strange cat. |

I came out from the
computer room and was totally shocked to see Jack and Boris sharing the sleeping
space on the mamason (larger than a papason). Originally they were sound
asleep, but I woke them up getting the camera out. I guess Boris has
gotten more accepting of Jack being around. Originally Boris would yowl
his head off whenever he saw Jack outside and when Jack would come inside he'd
try to beat the crud out of him. Boris still tries to from time to time
and comes out for the worst since he doesn't have front claws. |

Boris and Jack on top of the perch that I've very nicely covered with
pillows and a piece of fleece. Nope, they're not spoiled at all.
Jack is the grey lump to the left of Boris. |
Boris died on February 14, 2006 at the vet. The previous November
he'd had a long bout with kidney trouble. After much effort and money, he
recovered for a few months. On the 13th he started experiencing pain and
trouble, so I took him into the vet's, where he died later that evening in the
arms of one of the vet techs. His test results came back the following day
and confirmed that the kidney problems were back. I had already decided
that if it had returned, he would be put to sleep. His body just gave out before
that happened, though.
